Grand Canyon began to get back on track Thursday night a 74-51 victory against Chicago State at Global Credit Union Arena.
The Lopes (7-4) ended a two-game losing streak with a dominant 40-20 first half that included 15 Cougars turnovers. GCU kept a lead of 16 or more in the second half and led by as much as 27, keeping Chicago State to 37% shooting.

Lök Wur scored a career-high 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 2-of-5 accuracy from 3-point range. He has scored in double digits in four consecutive games for the first time in his career, averaging 14.3 points per game over that stretch. He also blocked two shots for the second time this season.

The Lopes broke open the game midway through the first half, when they took a 13-10 lead to 24-10 in less than four minutes. The 11-0 run ended with seven consecutive points by Wur, who scored on a fastbreak layup, pump-fake drive and a 3-pointer.
