Parrott comes off 44-kill weekend on .277 hitting percentage

			TARLETON STATE TEXANS (6-16, 1-8 WAC)

For the final time in WAC play, Grand Canyon hits the road for a two-match trip at Abilene Christian on Thursday and Tarleton State on Saturday. Abilene Christian is the only team the Lopes have yet to face in the conference.

GCU ranks 12th in the nation in blocks with 230 through 21 matches of the season.
Lopes senior middle blocker Trista Strasser ranks 19th nationally in total blocks with 109.
GCU junior outside hitter Tatum Parrott ranks 21st in the country this season in points per set with 4.99.

LAST TIME OUT

The most recent GCU vs.Abilene Christian matchup took place on Nov. 4, when the Lopes won 3-0 in Abilene.
GCU last played Tarleton State at home Oct. 19, when it swept the Texans 3-0 with four Lopes reaching double-digit kills in a three-setter for the first time in the Division I era.

The Lopes average 12.3 kills per match, along with 11.3 assists per set and 2.7 blocks per set.
