Four Grand Canyon women's golfers were honored by the Women's Golf Coaches Association today as
Ryan Flynn,
Constanza Guerrero,
Carly Strole and
Becca Tschetter were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team.

To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.

The quartet adds to their resumes as all four were named to the All-WAC postseason teams. Flynn earned WAC Freshman of the Year and First Team honors with Guerrero joining her on the First Team. Both Strole and Tschetter garnered Second Team accolades as the Lopes totaled six awards, the most in a single season in the Division I era.

GCU is coming off a season in which it finished in the top-3 in six tournaments with two first place showings. It won the Women's Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nev., and the Bobcat Desert Classic in Goodyear. It also was a part of the inaugural postseason National Golf Invitational, which was held May 12-14 at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Maricopa.
