GCU grad success rate rises

Up from an 88% mark a year ago and 80% four years ago, GCU's student-athletes graduated at an 89% rate, a number that has improved by 32% over the past decade. The data released on Wednesday considers student-athletes who began college in 2016 and graduated within six years.
GCU's grad success rate tied for second in the WAC behind Seattle U and tied with UT Arlington.
Of the 16 GCU programs measured, 11 registered a rate at or above 89%. Seven programs were at or above 90%. The GCU baseball, men's volleyball and women's volleyball programs posted a perfect 100% mark. Women's soccer (97%), women's swimming and diving (94%) and softball (93%) were not far behind.
