Klaire Mitchell earned her third WAC Setter of the Week award of the season for her performance against Abilene Christian and Tarleton last week.
The Lopes notched their sixth and seventh respective sweeps over ACU and TSU at home last Thursday and Saturday to build a 4-0 WAC resume and an 11-4 overall season, solidifying a second place slot in the conference rankings.

Mitchell, GCU's Division I-era career assists record holder, led the Lopes to their eighth straight match with .300-plus hitting for a team hitting percentage of .402 on the week, recorded 63 assists (10.50 aps), 15 digs (2.50 dps), 3 total blocks, 3 kills and 7 points.
The Coeur d'Alene, Idaho native ranks eighth nationally among Division I active players in total career assists (3,956) , and leads the WAC in assists per set (10.04) this season.
The Lopes look to make GCU women's volleyball DI-era sweep streak history this week with an eighth consecutive 3-0 victory at UT Arlington on Thursday evening.
