The Grand Canyon women's volleyball team hosts California Baptist in hopes of snagging a home win before heading out on the road for the next two weeks.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- GCU sits 1-1 in conference play after a 3-1 victory over Seattle U on Sept. 22 and a 2-3 loss to UT Arlington on Saturday.
- The Lopes hold an 11-5 historical record against the Lancers, splitting last season's matchups with each team recording a home sweep. GCU is 7-1 at home against CBU.
- Senior setter Klaire Mitchell ranks second in the WAC in assists per set (8.7) and total assists (470) and is on track to break 500 sets during this weekend's match.

- The Lancers hold a 2-4 neutral record, a 1-2 away record, a 3-1 home record and a 1-1 WAC record this season after sweeping Southern Utah and getting swept by New Mexico State.
- Redshirt senior middle blocker Chandler Gorman leads the conference in blocks per set (1.12) and ranks third in total blocks (55).
