8 Lopes land on MPSF All-Academic Team

4 GCU players honored for third consecutive year
The Grand Canyon men's volleyball team was well represented with student-athletes selected to this season's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team.
The group of eight Lopes trailed only Stanford for most honorees after GCU led the conference the past four seasons. Lopes players Christian Janke, Cole Udall, Hugo Fischer and Kyle Thompson all earned their third consecutive academic conference honor while teammates Camden Gianni, Karter Rogers, Jacob Guerber and Jackson Hickman were honored for the first time.
In order to be selected for the MPSF All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.0 or better, be at least a sophomore academically and have completed one academic year at their current institution.
