Air Force visits Phoenix for WAC showdown

Men's, women's dual meets set for Friday, Saturday

The Grand Canyon men's and women's swimming and diving teams take on strong Air Force teams in Friday and Saturday dual meets at the Fr Edward A. Reese Aquatic Center in Phoenix.

Last season, when the Lopes faced the Falcons at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, now-junior diver Isaac Poole swept the diving events while setting GCU and WAC records for 1-meter diving with a score of 372.0 points. On the women's side, the Lopes swept the relay events despite the challenge of the high altitude.

Friday's events will begin at 3 p.m. and Saturday will have a 10 a.m. start at GCU's home pool.
