Alaina Harper were honored as the WACÂ Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week, respectively, for their performances in the GCU Classic this weekend.

The Lopes extended their win streak to five games with two victories in the GCU Classic, defeating North Dakota 73-60 on Friday and Lindenwood 97-46 on Saturday.

Zars totaled 37 points, 18 rebounds and four steals while shooting 15 of 18 (83%) from the floor and 4 of 6 from 3-point range for the tournament. She recorded her second double-double of the season versus the Fighting Hawks, posting 22 points and 12 rebounds on 8-of-10 shooting. The Shawnee, Kansas, native is nearing two milestones for her career with 987 points and 937 rebounds. Zars is tied for seventh among active Division I players for career rebounds.

Harper earned her second Freshman of the Week accolade of the season after totaling 24 points and six rebounds while making 10 of 13 shots (77%) from the field. Harper shined in the victory over Lindenwood, scoring 18 points and grabbing four boards on 8-of-9 from the field.

The duo of Zars and Harper combine for 11.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest. From the floor, they have shot 47 of 68 (68%) while going 12 of 15 from the free throw line.
