The Grand Canyon men's soccer team will hold walk-on tryouts for current GCU students on Feb. 7-9 starting at 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at GCU Stadium.
Those interested in attending the tryouts must complete the tryout packet (
available here), which includes a participant checklist, medical packet and sickle cell trait test or waiver form. Also, anyone trying out for the team must bring a copy of the front and back of his insurance card. Participants also must have had a physical within the past six months and be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Â
To be cleared by GCU Sports Medicine, visit Building 12 on the first floor with a completed medical packet. To be cleared by the Office of Athletics Compliance, visit
Nic Latham (or email first at
Nic.Latham@gcu.edu) in Building 26 on the third floor with the walk-on participant checklist completed by the student and a Sports Medicine staff member.
COVID-19 Protocol:

- Physical must be completed by a provider within the state of Arizona.
- During the tryout, the mask is not required for those who are vaccinated, but recommended for non-vaccinated individuals. The completed medical package must be emailed to the Sports Medicine Staff and the Office of Athletics Compliance.
