Lopes add nonconference game, move WAC series
The Grand Canyon women's basketball team made changes to its upcoming schedule by adding a nonconference game and moving a WAC series.
In a game addition, GCU will host Idaho State on Friday at 2 p.m. The Bengals had their weekend Big Sky series canceled due to COVID-19 issues with their scheduled opponent. Idaho State comes to GCU Arena sporting a 12-1 record and an 11-game winning streak.
GCU's upcoming WAC series against Tarleton was moved for a second time. The Lopes and Texans will meet on Monday, Feb. 1, and Tuesday, Feb. 2, with both games tipping off at 6 p.m. The two teams were scheduled to open conference play in early January before an initial postponement to Feb. 9-10 that is now Feb. 1-2.
All games will be streamed on GCULopes.com, "GCU" on YouTube and the GCU Lopes app.
