Lopes lead MPSF academically

12 GCU student-athletes named to All-Academic Team
Grand Canyon men's volleyball landed 12 honorees on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team, leading the conference for the third year in a row.
Nominees must have a 3.0 or better GPA, be a sophomore academically, have completed one full academic year at their current institution and have competed in 50% or more of the season's competitions.
GCU's 12-honoree crew was followed by BYU, Pepperdine and Stanford with five honorees apiece.
Lopes juniors David Kisiel and Ian McLain and sophomore Tanner Petchul received the award for the second year in a row.
