Â
GCU trailed 4-0 after the first three innings against Weber State in the nightcap.
Â
Covarrubio doubled to the left-center gap to start off the bottom of the third inning. Freshman designated player
Olivia Zufelt hit her first home run as a Lope to cut Weber State's lead in half at 4-2.
Â
Weber State added its final two runs in the top of the fifth to take a 6-2 lead.
