Graduation success rate of GCU student-athletes improves to 84%
Grand Canyon's graduation success rate metrics continued to rise in the latest round of data released by the NCAA on Tuesday.
Up from an 80% mark a year ago, GCU's student-athletes graduated at an 84% rate, a number that has improved by 24% over the past five years. The data released on Tuesday considers student-athletes who began college in 2013.
Of the 16 GCU programs measured, 15 registered a rate above 70%. Ten programs were above 80%. The GCU men's tennis program posted a perfect 100% GSR. Women's soccer was not far behind with a 95% GSR. Men's and women's volleyball and softball checked in with marks of 92%.
GCU's overall GSR tied for second in the WAC.Â
