Grand Canyon University athletics has partnered with Scottsdale-based Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG). PXG will provide its performance-focused, custom-fit golf equipment to both the Lopes men's and women's golf teams.
Â
"Investing in the GCU golf program just makes sense," shared PXG founder and CEO Bob Parsons. "The university is local to PXG's headquarters and has done a tremendous job building a top-notch program for its students."
Â
By providing a tour-level fitting experience and custom-built golf equipment for both the men's and women's teams, PXG will support talented GCU golfers in their pursuit of excellence on the course.
Â
"GCU Athletics and PXG are two hometown entities that continue to experience fast-paced growth," said GCU men's golf coach
Mark Mueller. "This partnership is allowing our players to elevate their games while supporting the future of golf technology. We are very thankful to Mr. Parsons for this opportunity. "
Â
"It is an honor to have a company like PXG support our program," said GCU women's coach
Lauren Giesecke. "We are grateful to the commitment Mr. Parsons is making to the game and to women's golf especially."
