GCU faces Rebels in final home meet of season
The Grand Canyon swimming and diving team hosts its final home meet of the 2018-19 season Saturday when the Lopes welcome UNLV to Phoenix for Senior Day.
Saturday's meet will start at 1 p.m. at the Fr. Edward A. Reese Aquatic Center on the campus of Brophy College Preparatory.
Last year, the Lopes were swept in Las Vegas, as the men lost to UNLV 176-123 while the women fell 188-111.
The program will celebrating its five seniors — Daniil Antipov, Owen Cameron, Menna El-Midany, Mark Nikolaev and Bogdan Plavin, as the team competes in its final home meet for GCU.
Brophy is located at 4701 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix. The pool is on the east side of campus with parking on the south side. Follow the path around the baseball field to get to the pool.
