GCU looks to continue hot shooting

GCU hosts Cal State Fullerton on Sunday afternoon at GCU Arena. The Lopes are in a stretch of playing three of four games on the road with the lone home matchup against the Titans.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

DOWNTOWN LOPES: GCU enters the game as the most accurate team in the nation behind the 3-point line. The Lopes have connected on 27 of 50 (54%) from behind the arc.
SENIOR LEADER: Senior post Da'jah Daniel is shooting 54.1% from the field, averaging 10.3 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game.
FRESHMAN HANDLES: Freshman point guard Jada Holland leads the Lopes in minutes played, free throws made, assists and steals.

SCOUTING

CSU FULLERTON is off to a 3-2 start as the Titans are playing five of their first six matchups on the road. The Titans defeated Utah State 83-62 on Wednesday.

Fullerton has played a common opponent with GCU. The Titans lost 79-63 at Southern Utah, which the Lopes defeated 69-65 in GCU Arena.

The Titans are led by Raina Perez, who is averaging 22.2 points per game. Fulerton has road wins at UNLV and Loyola Marymount.

LAST TIME OUT

GCU was edged 72-67 at Montana on Tuesday night.

WHAT'S NEXT

After this week, the Lopes play at Portland State on Dec. 6.
