Grand Canyon women's soccer sophomore defender
Logan Van Dine was recognized for her excellence in the classroom with a spot on the Academic All-District team, chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

The business analytics major holds a 4.0 grade point average at GCU. On top of her success in the classroom, Van Dine started 10 games for the Lopes and appeared in 12 of the team's 19 games this season.

Van Dine was the only WAC player who made the District 8 list, which encompasses seven states in the West and Canada.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA. In addition, the nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50% of the team's games.
