The Grand Canyon women's basketball team hosts Portland State on Tuesday night for its final 2018 contest inside GCU Arena.
The Lopes are 2-2 at home this season with victories over Incarnate Word and LIU Brooklyn and will not play its next home game until Jan. 10.
GCU is on a two-game losing streak and looks to turn things around before a two-game road trip to close out the year at Long Beach State and Santa Clara. The Lopes rank 13th in the nation for 3-point shooting percentage at 39.5 with freshman guard

Scouting Portland State
Portland State comes to Phoenix with a 6-0 record and the nation's lowest opponent shooting percentage (29.0) after beating Warner Pacific, San Jose State, UC Davis, Seattle U, Portland and UTEP. Under fourth-year head coach Lynn Kennedy, the Vikings won their first road game Sunday in El Paso, where 2017-18 Big Sky Freshman of the Year Kylie Jimenez led Portland State with 21 points.
The Vikings are led by senior guard Ashley Bolston, who has team-high averages for points (16.0), assists (6.8), rebounds (6.7) and steals (3.8). She is one of two players in the nation to record two triple-doubles this season.
Portland State has won its games by an average of 27.2 points, which is the sixth-best scoring margin in the nation.
The Vikings went 19-13 in 2017-18, when they were 11-7 in Big Sky Conference play and reached the conference tournament semifinals.
