PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Grand Canyon women's basketball team returns to the GCU Arena on Thursday for a three-game home stand. The Lopes (8-9, 2-1 WAC) host Chicago State (0-18, 0-3 WAC) and Kansas City (5-13, 1-2 WAC) this weekend before closing out the month with Utah Valley on Saturday, Jan. 27.
GCU is 6-1 over its last seven games, with its only loss coming by four points at New Mexico State last Thursday. The Lopes 6-1 streak came after GCU started the season 2-8 in the beginning of non-conference play, and have since found their groove on the hardwood.
