The Grand Canyon women's basketball team will embark on its final road trip of the regular season as they travel to Chicago State and UMKC.  The Lopes will play Chicago State  on Thursday, Feb.23 at 6 p.m. MST. GCU will square off with UMKC on Saturday, Feb. 25. Tip is set for 1.

Last Time Out
GCU defeated Seattle U (82-77)Â in a thriller Thursday night. The Lopes forced 26 turnovers with 16 steals and were led by a Mobley 31-point performance to claim the win in the final seconds. GCU dominated in its Utah Valley (60-42) win Saturday, shooting over 50 percent in the second half to run away with the game.Â

1. GCU will hit the road for its final road  trip of the regular season. The Lopes will look to complete the series sweep over Chicago State and UMKC.Â

Brie Mobley earned Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for her performance for Feb.13 through Feb.19. She was instrumental in a pair of GCU wins. On Thursday, she scored 31 points with nine rebounds as the Lopes handed Seattle U just their second WAC loss of the season. She followed that up with 10 points and seven rebounds in a 60-42 win over Utah Valley on Saturday afternoon. She finished the week shooting 15-for-25 from the field and a perfect 11-for-11 on free throws.
3.Since returning to the court after an ankle injury, Laramie has performed well. Through WAC contests she's averaged 19.4 points per game, good for first place in the league. Overall, she is averaging 19.9 points per game good for No. 16 in the NCAA. She currently leads the conference in scoring by 3.4 points.Â
4. With an 11-2 home record, GCU has tied for the best mark since the 2013-14 season. GCU's lone losses have been at the hands of No. 10 Washington and New Mexico State. With the season finale against CSUB, the Lopes have the opportunity set a new home record come Saturday, Mar. 4.
5. With one Lope leading the conference in scoring and a total of four in the top-5 in the conference standings, GCU continues to impress on the court. Laramie leads with 19.9 ppg. Gajewski sits at fifth in the category (38.6).
Zelor Massaquoi is second with 8.0 rpg.
Aniya Baker sits in the top 2 with 3.9 apg.Â
Chicago State Notables
The Cougars are 0-25 on the year and 0-11  in WAC play.
They are averaging 52.2 ppg with 29.8 rpg. Kaylee Allen leads the squad in scoring with 14.0 ppg, she also has a team-leading 6.2 rpg. Jessica Cerda, is also averaging double-figures with 10.8Â ppg.Â
GCU will meet CSU for the eighth time in program history. GCU holds the advantage in the all-time series at 7-0. Â In their last meeting, GCU defeated CSUÂ in 74-59 finish in GCU Arena.Â

The 'Roos are currently 7-17 on the year. 2-9 in WAC play.Â
They are currently averaging 60.5 ppg with 34.9 rpg. Samantha Waldron currently leads the squad in scoring with 12.0 ppg. Kiana Law has a team-leading 6.2 rpg. Kaylee Best is also putting up 10.7 ppg.Â
GCU will meet UMKC Â for the eighth time in program history. GCU holds the advantage in the all-time series at 6-1. In their last meeting, GCU defeated UMKCÂ at 75-64 in GCU Arena.Â
