The Grand Canyon men's return home to GCU Arena on Saturday, Dec. 9 as they take on Grambling State. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. MST and will be broadcasted live in the Phoenix area on YurView (Ch. 4 Phoenix / Ch. 7 Tucson) and streamed online at GCU.tv. Out of market broadcast will also be available on ESPN3 (Subject to blackout within Arizona). Barry Buetel will be providing play-by-play with analyst Scott Williams and Kate Longworth on the sideline.

GCU fans can listen live as Michael Potter and Tom Kuyper will be airing on 1580 AM The Fanatic as well as online via The Fanatic website or mobile app. The pregame show will start 15 minutes before tip and conclude with a postgame show featuring comments from head coach Dan Majerle.

GCU QUICK NOTES:

GCU looks to bounce back after falling 68-60 to St. John's in the Valley of the Sun Showcase at Talking Stick Arena on Tuesday Night. It was the Lopes' first neutral site loss since 2014-15.
The Lopes are 8-0 all-time against SWAC opponents, including a 3-0 record last season.
GCU ranks sixth in the country in scoring defense (59.9 points per game). In the last three seasons, GCU is 24-2 when allowing 61 points or less.
Casey Benson set a career high with 18 points vs. St. John's and is posting career-high averages for points (12.0), assists (4.7) rebounds (4.3), and steals (1.3) on the season.
Keonta Vernon tied his career high with 15 rebounds vs. St. John's. It was the third time he has reached that mark, having most recently achieved it at Chicago State (1/28/17).
Dating back to last season, the Lopes have won 19 of their last 21 home games at GCU Arena.
The Lopes rank eighth in the country in effective opponent field goal percentage at 42.3 percent. Effective field goal percentage factors in weighted figures for 3-point field goals.
GCU leads the WAC in scoring defense (59.9), scoring margin (+10.6), field goal percentage defense (38.4), three-point field goal percentage defense (27.5), and blocks (4.4).
Following a three steal performance against UC Riverside, Oscar Frayer leads the WAC in steals, averaging 2.1 per game.
GCU ranks sixth in the country in attendance relative to stadium capacity, averaging 101.3 percent of stadium capacity this season. That includes three games where students were on fall break.
