PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Grand Canyon women's basketball team looks to break its three-game losing streak on Thursday, Dec. 14 at Northern Arizona. The Lopes and the Lumberjacks square off at Noon (MT) for NAU's kids' day at the Rolle Activity Center. Thursday's game can be streamed on Pluto.TV and live stats will be available.
GCU fell to 2-8 over the weekend, as the Lopes lost to Long Beach State at home on Thursday and at Washington on Sunday.

Scouting Northern Arizona
Northern Arizona is 3-5 on the season with back-to-back wins over Boise State (62-60) and Antelope Valley (104-49), as well as an 84-66 victory over in-state foe Arizona. The Lumberjacks dropped the season-opener to UC Santa Barbara before falling to Rice and Hawaii. Most recently, NAU lost at Denver on Dec. 3 and to Cal Poly on Dec. 9.
Last season, the Lumberjacks were 9-21 overall and 5-13 in the Big Sky conference. NAU suffered a mid-season seven-game losing streak and closed out the regular season 3-2 in the final five contests. NAU played in the first round of the Big Sky tournament, but dropped the opening match, 88-76, to Portland State.
