EDINBURG – The Grand Canyon women's volleyball team nearly knocked off the defending Western Athletic Conference champs, but fell at UTRGV 25-20, 26-28, 15-25, 25-21, 15-10 on Thursday night.
"I am very proud of the way our girls competed tonight," said head coach

A couple mistakes at crucial parts of the fourth and fifth sets ended up being the difference in the match. Our team continues to get better and we will keep competing."
