GRAND CANYON LOPES WAC		at		AIR FORCE ACADEMY FALCONS WAC

The Grand Canyon University men's swimming and diving team is flying solo this weekend to Colorado Springs, Colo. as they take on the Air Force Falcons at 1 p.m. MST on Nov. 5.

The two teams competed last season at home in a close battle that came down to the final two events. The Lopes ultimately fell to the Falcons 129-114.

The GCU men are undefeated so far this season, with a number of pool records and top WAC times already under their belt. This weekend's meet will be a tough matchup as the Air Force men are currently ranked No. 1 in the WAC and 35^th in Division I overall according to CollegeSwimming.com.

The Lopes lead the Falcons in several events, including Daniil Antipov's time of 9:39.22 in the 1000-yard freestyle which ranks second in the conference ahead of Andrew Faciszewski and Swimmer of the Week Mark Nikolaev's time of 22.43 in the 50-yard backstroke which holds the number one spot in the conference ahead of Joseph Gebhart.
