The Grand Canyon men's basketball seeks its fourth straight win and seventh-straight at GCU Arena as they host the SIUE Cougars on Monday, Nov. 28. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. MST and will be broadcasted live in the Phoenix area on Cox 7 Arizona and streamed online at
GCU.tv. Barry Buetel will be providing play-by-play with analyst Scott Williams and Kate Longworth on the sideline.

- The Lopes have won three games in a row in 2016-17, and extended their winning streak at GCU Arena to six games dating back to last season.
- The Lopes are 4-0 in home openers under Dan Majerle after GCU defeated Coppin State 70-37 on Friday night. The Lopes held Coppin State to 14 first-half points, and to just 24.5 percent shooting from the field for the game.
- In the Lopes' win over the Eagles, it was GCU's first time holding an opponent under 40 points since transitioning to Division I play. It was the lowest GCU opponent point total overall since holding San Francisco State to 35 points in a 68-35 win on January 8, 1999.
- The Lopes had the fourth-largest crowd in GCU Arena history in the home-opener vs. Coppin State with 7,258.
- In last season's 11-point win over SIUE, DeWayne Russell recorded his second double-double of his career, with 11 points and 10 assists. Joshua Braun had a game-high 21 points, while hitting 5-of-8 three point attempts and 6-of-10 from the field overall.
- Russell was named the WAC Player of the Week last week after averaging 26.5 point, 8.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds over two games, including a career-high 30 points vs. Albany on Nov. 19.
- Darion Clark ranks second in the WAC in rebounding, averaging 8.0 per game. Shaq Carr ranks second in assists with 4.40 per game. Joshua Braun ranks fourth in scoring (17.4) and sixth in 3-point FG percentage (.441) and ranks second in minutes played (34.2).
- GCU looks to win its fourth game in a row. The Lopes had winning streaks of at least four games, three times last season.
- SIUE is the one of two Ohio Valley Conference teams that GCU has faced in school history. The Lopes are 2-2 against the OVC, with two wins over SIUE and two losses to Jacksonville State.
- SIUE head coach Jon Harris is in his second season at the helm, with a 9-25 as the Cougars' head coach.
- Burak Eslik hit a pair of free throws with 8.3 seconds left Saturday to seal a 61-58 victory for SIUE over IUPUI Saturday at Vadalabene Center. For the season, Tre Harris has come off the bench to lead the Cougars in scoring at 14.3 points per game.
