Grand Canyon (12-10, 3-2) returns home to GCU Arena to take on Chicago State (4-18, 0-5) tonight at 7 p.m. The Antelopes are looking to build off one its most impressive performances of the season, a 78-57 win over UMKC on Thursday in Phoenix. The WAC matchup can be heard on radio on KXXT 1010 AM (also via the KXXT "TuneIn Radio" App), with GCU Alum Michael Potter calling the action alongside 'The Coach", Dan Nichols. CHICAGO STATEThis marks the third meeting between GCU and Chicago State with the Lopes holding the 2-0 lead in the all-time series. GCU swept the two-game Western Athletic Conference series last season, winning a close 76-75 on the road before posting an 84-74 victory on their home court.
LAST TIME OUTGCU snapped their two-game losing streak with a convincing 78-57 win over Kansas City on Thursday night at GCU Arena. The Lopes shot over 50.0 percent for the seventh time this season, led by double-doubles from Joshua Braun (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Daniel Alexander (19 points, 10 rebounds). De'Andre Davis added 12 points. GCU led by as many as 28 points in the game, their largest lead in a game this season.
