Dugan, Glennie Earn AAA Rating

Grand Canyon sand volleyball's Shannon Dugan and Megan Glennie won the California Beach Volleyball Association Will Rogers State Beach Class AA tournament June 14 on the Santa Monica Bay, earning a AAA rating, the highest for amateur players.
Players reaching the finals of a AA tournament earn a AAA rating.
Dugan and Glennie played as the No. 2 pair at GCU last spring, finishing with 10 wins, second most on the team.
The pair went 4-0 in pool play before advancing to the championship bracket, defeating Madalyn Roh and Lorna Brandt in the finals.
"Getting a rating is the most rewarding feeling," said Dugan, who will be a senior on this year's indoor team in the fall. "Working with your partner and succeeding with them is an awesome feeling."
