The Grand Canyon University baseball team (18-15, 8-4 WAC) is coming off of their third Western Athletic Conference series victory, this time over conference leader Sacramento State. The Antelopes will hit the road for five straight games, beginning with tonight's 4 p.m. (AZ time) matchup at Kansas (22-15, 6-6 Big 12). THE LAST SERIESThe Antelopes won two of three games against Western Athletic Conference leader Sacramento State last weekend at Brazell Stadium. GCU won 3-2 in walkoff fashion in series opener before dropping a back-and-forth 5-4 game in 10 innings. The Lopes came from behind twice to win the series finale, 8-6. Malcolm Purdy picked up a pair of wins over the weekend, while Michael Pomeroy went 6-for-12 (.500) including plating the game-winner on Friday night.

Bruns tossed three straight complete games from March 16-30, allowing just 6 earned runs over 25.0 innings.
