The Grand Canyon University men's basketball team (2-3) closed out their four-game homestand with an 80-64 loss to visiting Buffalo (3-1) tonight at GCU Arena.
The Antelopes were hampered by a season-low 32.2 field goal percentage (19-for-59) while the Bulls went 28-for-54 (51.9 percent) from the floor.

Two different GCU players picked up season-bests with the Lopes in tonight's game:
Royce Woolridge with 19 points and
Ryan Majerle with 16.
Jerome Garrison added 15 points. GCU held the 40-39 advantage in rebounds, but were outdueled by Buffalo in the paint (36-20).
The Bulls used an early 10-0 run to turn a 9-8 deficit into a 17-8 lead with 14 minutes to play in the first half. GCU then scored nine of the next 11 points to pull back within two points at 19-17 with 12:19 on the clock.
Buffalo built an 18-point lead (43-25) with just over two minutes to play in the first half via a 12-2 run that spanned nearly five minutes. GCU found themselves trailing by 13 heading into the break, 45-32, after shooting 33.3 percent from the floor (11-for-33). The Bulls shot 59.4 percent (19-for-32), including a 7-for-12 mark from beyond the arc (53.8 percent).
Woolridge led GCU at the half with 10 points, securing his fifth straight double-digit scoring effort in five games this season. Garrison added nine points for the Lopes.
The Lopes closed the gap to 10 points halfway through the second half (57-47), but Buffalo scored 11 unanswered points to build their advantage to a game-high 21 points over the next two minutes.
GCU shot just 30.8 percent (8-for-26) over the final 20 minutes, but were effective from the free throw line, draining 13-of-18 attempts (72.2 percent).
GCU will now hit the road for two games, beginning with a 4 p.m. contest at Central Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 29. That game will mark a homecoming for Majerle, as he played his college basketball with the Chippewas, and had his No. 44 jersey retired by the school.
