The Grand Canyon men's basketball team (6-9, 1-1) ventures on the road this week for two contests and begin with a game tonight at Bakersfield (7-8, 0-1). Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. (AZ time). The Roadrunners have dropped seven of their last nine, including an 82-74 defeat to Utah Valley in their WAC opener last Saturday. Jerome Garrison has had the hot hand of late for the Antelopes, scoring 24 and 25 in their WAC opening weekend split against UTPA and New Mexico State.

VS. CSU BAKERSFIELD
The Antelopes trail the all-time series against the Roadrunners 10-19, with their last meeting coming on Dec. 13, 2005, a 77-74 CSUB win when both schools were members of the CCAA.
LAST TIME OUT
The Antelopes fell to preseason WAC favorite New Mexico State, 84-62, before the largest crowed in GCU Arena history (4,977) on Jan. 4. Jerome Garrison, for the second straight game, established a new career-high with 25 points. Daniel Alexander had 11 points, while freshman Sam Daly collected a career-best 10 points. The Aggies outrebounded GCU, 41-25, while shooting 52.9 percent (28-for-55) compared to 40.4 percent (23-for-57) for the 'Lopes.
DOUBLE YOUR TROUBLE
Killian Larson is averaging a double-double with 15.7 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, and has recorded double-digits in both categories 11 times this season, tops in the country (as of Jan. 5). Larson had a career-best 17 rebounds on Nov. 22 vs. Savannah State and season-high 31 points on Nov. 29 vs. SDC.
