Grand Canyon University’s sophomore libero Trent Bruns (Mission Viejo, CA , Mission Viejo) was named to the all-conference first team for the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association.

Bruns was the only Antelope to earn all-conference honors this season. He led the conference in total digs with 292 and averaging 2.52 digs per game. In conference competitions, Bruns accumulated 91 digs and averaged 2.02 digs.

Bruns earned second team honors for the 2010 season and finished the season ranked second in the nation for digs per game with 3.61 and 502 total digs.

The Antelopes will head to Chicago, Ill. this weekend for the first round of the MIVA tournament against the No. 2 team in the conference, Loyola University.
