Grand Canyon University senior Rony Tchatchoua (Douala, Cameroon, Little Rock Christian, New Hampshire) came off the bench to score 17 points in the 'Lopes 71-68 win at Dixie State Saturday, earning him a spot on the PacWest Men's Basketball Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll, released Monday by the PacWest Office.
The weekly award selections are for games played Jan. 3-9. GCU's lone game during that stretch was its win at Dixie State, the program's first in St. George, Utah.
Along with 17 points, Tchatchoua had a team-high six rebounds, shot 50 percent from the field (5-of-10) and 77.8 percent from the free-throw line (7-of-9).
