Successful Summer for Daniels in GCU Purple
7/28/2010 2:28:12 PM | Dominique Daniels - BMX
While Dominique Daniels has been switching up her colors, one thing has remained the same, she continues to race her way to a top podium finish winning three of three races this month.
The adjustment period was short, having gained official sponsorship by GCU on July 1st and gearing up for her first race in purple on July 2nd. That did not slow her down however as she earned a first place finish at the Great Salt Lake Nationals in Utah. This race also served as the UCI North American Continental Championships for the Elite division in which Daniels competes.
A week later, the new ‘lope found herself representing excellence for GCU again in Nashville, Tennessee at the Music City Nationals, earning another first place finish.
Just last weekend, July 24-25, Dominique pushed through the heat and humidity in Trumbull, Connecticut at the Constitution Classic. While most athletes might crumble in 90 degree weather with 94 percent humidity, Daniels thrived earning yet another victory.
Daniels is off to a great start as a 'lope and the future is looking bright as she continues to represent GCU.
