GCU Bound Athlete in National Spotlight
US PRO BMX Champion Dominique Daniels known as “3-D” featured in March 2010 Issue
She has amassed quite a resume with Amateur World Titles, US Amateur Titles, USA Cycling Titles in both Junior and Elite categories, The Elite Women’s Title for The National Bicycle League and 2-Time American Bicycle Association Pro Champion and all this was accomplished by her 17th birthday.
With her sights set on 2012, Dominique has begun training for Road, Track (Velodrome) and Mountain Bike trying to qualify in multiple cycling disciplines which could possibly change the sport forever.
For now, this recent Mesquite High School graduate, plans to train and compete in major events throughout 2010. If ESPN’s track record continues, we will see a lot more of her as she leads BMX into the light of mainstream sports and Sportscenter! Daniels will enroll at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in August of 2010.
