GCU men's volleyball team ended the season Saturday at Loyola-Chicago.

CHICAGO -- Grand Canyon men's volleyball season came to an end Saturday with a 3-0 loss to No. 15 Loyola-Chicago in the quarterfinals of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association tournament.
GCU, playing without injured freshman setter Brad Moore (Orange, CA, Orange Lutheran), lost 30-17, 30-10, 30-17.
GCU ends the season with a 14-26 overall record.
Freshman Trent Bruns (Mission Viejo, CA, Mission Viejo) had five digs. Sophomore Dan Ballenger (Tucson, AZ, Flowing Wells) added two. Freshman Robbie Brannick (Minooka, IL, Minooka) had three kills and sophomore Brock Hutchins (Gilbert, AZ, Highland (Hawai'i)) had 11 assists.
