Grand Canyon won both games of a doubleheader from Colorado School of Mines Sunday, 10-6 and 9-6 to complete a four-game series sweep.
Grand Canyon won Saturday's nightcap in a 6-0 shutout as Nick Lowery worked 4 1/3 innings, allowing seven hits and two walks on a day when the pitching took center stage for the Antelopes (5-10). Sunday, the offense became the lead story again.
GCU scored 10 runs on 10 hits in Sunday's opener, and busted out for nine runs on 15 hits in the series finale, dropping Colorado School of Mines to 1-10 overall.
Trevor Vega had a huge day, going 3 for 4 in Game 2 after parking a home run in Game 1. Austin Stockfisch was 3 for 3 in the opener, and Tyler Bair was 1 for 2 with a home run and three RBI.
