No. 4 Nebraska-Kearney too much for Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon met one of the nation's best on the mat again Friday night. And the Antelopes got No. 4-ranked Nebraska-Kearney's best.
UNK beat GCU 43-3 in Kearney, Neb.
GCU's Tony Covert (pictured) recorded the Antelopes solo win, beating Michael Abril 10-8 at 125 pounds. Covert improved to 15-18. He has won his last three matches, and four of his past five.
At 157, No. 2-ranked Joe Ellenberger beat GCU's Stephen Towne 9-1. At 165, No. 8 Keenan McCurdy pinned GCU's Dan Grayson in 1:09. No. 3 Marty Usman decisioned GCU's Jack Porter 4-2 at 174.
In the heavyweight bout, Grand Canyon's Jed Jobe injured his ankle and was unable to continue. Top-ranked Tervel Dlagnev won by injury default.
The Antelopes wrestle at Fort Hays State Saturday night in Hays, Kan.
