It seems one nationally-ranked opponent follows another.

After a three-game homestand last week with No. 5 UC San Diego, Grand Canyon's baseball team is on the road to play No. 32 Chico State.

The Lopes and Wildcats meet at Nettleton Stadium for a four-game series beginning with a single-game Friday at 6 p.m. The clubs play a doubleheader Saturday and single-game Sunday, both starting at noon.

GCU will try and snap a three-game losing streak, while the Wildcats were swept Monday in a doubleheader by Sonoma State.
