BESSEMER, Ala. -- Grand Canyon women's bowling team needs no more incentive for its next tournament than to Reddicreverse the results of an off weekend.
GCU went 0-6 Sunday at the final day of the Alabama A&M Holiday Classic, losing four matches coach Ron Reddic said his team should have never given away.
GCU fell to Alabama State 790-710, Minnesota State, 874-825, Jackson State, 872-805, Vanderbilt, 1013-812, Alabama A&M, 1046-810 and Bethune Cookman, 909-860.
"We need to learn how to close out the eighth, ninth and 10th frames," Reddic (pictured) said. "You can't open in those frames and look to beat a Vanderbilt, Maryland Eastern Shores, Delaware State, Arkansas State and so on. The girls need to close stronger.
