Grand Canyon University finished a season series sweep of nearby Southwestern College with a 3-0 sweep at Antelope Gym Monday.

GCU won 25-17, 25-13, 25-18 and had 15 players contribute stats along the way.

Senior Dana Edington (Peoria, Ariz./Centennial) led the way with nine kills, three assists, four service aces, five digs and two total blocks. Freshman setter Kristen Preach (Phoenix, Ariz./Xavier Prep) had 26 assists, four kills, two service aces, five digs, four block assists and one solo block. Junior Megan Toth (Phoenix, Ariz./Arcadia) and senior Whitney Estes (Gardnerville, Nev./Douglas) each had six kills. Estes had four block assists.

Sophomore Laurann Durbin (Phoenix, Ariz./Sunnyslope) led with six digs. Sophomore Andrea Kraus (pictured, Yucaipa, Calif./Yucaipa) had two service aces, an assist and three digs. Freshman Erin Compton (Billings, Mont./West) had six digs. Freshmen Katie Peterson (Glendale, Ariz./Mountain Ridge) and Shelby Taylor (Phoenix, Ariz./Christian) had four block assists each. Taylor added a solo block. Senior Vicky Bauler (Phoenix, Ariz./Agua Fria) had one kill and four digs. Junior Tommyka Henry (Phoenix, Ariz./Alhambra/Mesa CC) had three kills and two block assists. Freshman Erica Ehlo (Spokane, Wash./Lewis and Clark) had four kills.

Sophomore Lisa Ramirez (Peoria, Ariz./Peoria) had one assist and one dig. Freshmen Emily Draper (Phoenix, Ariz./Christian) and Taylor Laramore (Eaton, Colo./Eaton) each played on the home floor for the first time.

GCU is 15-8 and has won three straight and six of its last seven matches.
