Bolton named to all-tourney team, GCU places 7th

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Tera Bolton was named to the Greater Ozark Invitational all-tournament team after placing sixth in the three-day event Ailporthosted by Central Missouri.
Bolton averaged 194.43, putting togther three straight 200-plus games on Saturday. She bowled games of 188 and 186 on Sunday. Her average was the eighth best in the 67-player field.
Grand Canyon finished seventh in the eight-team tourney, going 2-8. The Antelopes averaged 819.143 per game. Vanderbilt won the tournament, going 7-3 with a 991.143 average. Arkansas State was second and Central Missouri was third.
Grand Canyon's Amanda Ailport (pictured) was 16th in match play. She was 34th in average at 169.86.
