Chaminade trips up Lopes on buzzer beater

What can you say? Some guy hits a gamewinning shot at the buzzer.
Deflating.
Chaminade's Stewart Kussler hit a gamewinning shot at the buzzer Friday in a 76-73 win over host Grand Canyon. It was the first time an opponent has beaten GCU in Antelope Gym this year.
Kussler's shot came after GCU (10-7, 5-5 PacWest) turned the ball over with a chance to go ahead and the ball in its hands.
"There was a miscommunication," Grand Canyon guard Milee Karre said, surveying the stat sheets in stunned disappointment following the game.
Communicate this, No. 26-ranked Chaminade (13-4, 8-0) was destined for its first loss in nine tips, but a costly error and a big-time shot kept the Silverswords' win streak in tact at nine straight.
