Hosted and won the NCAA Division II Championship on the GCU campus, defeating Seattle Pacific University 2-1 (in 3 overtimes) in the quarter finals, Lynn University (FL) 1-0 in the semifinal, and Oakland University (MI) by a 3-1 margin in the final.
The 'Lopes were the top seed from the West Region.
