Logan Blair is in his first year as the Grand Canyon men's tennis assistant coach for the 2026-27 season
Blair recently served as assistant coach for West Virgina University for 2 seasons, helping secure the programs No.1 all time transfer and freshman recruiting class.
Prior to his stint at West Virginia, he served as an assistant coach with the men’s and women’s tennis teams at his alma mater, Biola University, in Los Angeles. He also worked for the Portland tennis team as a volunteer assistant coach after he served as a coach for Crabel Tennis in Beverly Hills, California. Prior to his time with Crabel Tennis, he was a coach and recruiter for The Tennis Club in Newport Beach, Calif.
He also coached junior players at Matchpoint Tennis Academy in Santa Anna, Calif.
Blair, a native of Salem, Oregon, played on the Biola men’s tennis team from 2018-21, while earning a B.A. in communications. During this time, he also served as a representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for Biola.
Father, Brandon, was a 4x All-American at the University of Iowa in 10m platform diving. Mother, Rhonda was a 2x All-Big Ten player and the all-time doubles win percentage leader for Iowa women’s tennis. Wife Kianna, was a 5-star and top 30 recruit as a junior and is one of Gonzaga University women’s tennis all time best players tallying 82 wins for the Zags. Brother Judson, was a 5-star and top 20 junior recruit and played tennis for 2 years at San Diego State, and 2 years at Georgia Southern University. Sister Libby, was a 4-star junior recruit, and currently plays for Bowling Green State University women's tennis team.
