Craig McCall was announced as assistant coach of the men’s soccer program in January. 2026.
McCall was a member of Jamie Davies’ staff in the same role in 2025, helping guide the team to an ASUN regular season title and an ASUN Conference Championship trophy. The Ospreys finished 12-5-2 in 2025 and earned an NCAA Tournament berth.
At North Florida, he assisted in recruiting, video analysis, and individualized player development.
Prior to becoming a collegiate coach, McCall played professionally for four years, mostly back home in Scotland and England, but included a year stint at South Georgia Tormenta in USL One in 2021.
McCall attended Eastern Florida State College from 2015-16, receiving Region 8 Conference Co-Player of the Year and NJCAA All-American. He helped guide the program to a National Semifinals appearance and Region 8 Conference Championship title while being named team captain.
McCall also played two seasons at Florida Institute of Technology from 2018-19, making 31 appearances with one goal and 10 assists.
His coaching resume includes U14 Lead Phase Coach with Bradford City Football Club, U20 Individual Technical Coach with Harrogate Town, in addition to roles as a Football Coach with the Des Moines Menace First Team, Strive Academy and the U16/U15 South Carolina Surf.
McCall holds a UEFA B License, SFA Football Psychology, SFA Adult Physical Preparation, NASML3 Personal Trainer and NASM L4 Certified Nutrition certified.
