Antonio Bulgheroni

Graduate Assistant

Antonio Bulgheroni is in his first season as a graduate assistant with the Grand Canyon men’s basketball program in 2026-27.

Bulgheroni previously served as an undergraduate student manager for the Lopes while competing as a student-athlete for the Grand Canyon men’s golf team. He is pursuing a Master of Science in business analytics at GCU.

As a junior in 2024-25, Bulgheroni competed in five golf tournaments and posted a 72.2 scoring average. He finished among the top 25 in each of his appearances, highlighted by a tie for 12th at the Southern Dunes Invitational with a 3-under score. He also recorded a career-low round of 67, 5 under par, during the final round of the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate.

Bulgheroni also gained professional sports experience as an intern at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in July 2025. He assisted with VIP ticketing, concourse operations, gameday logistics, event planning, marketing integration and sponsorship activation. He also worked with the Chicago Bulls’ operations staff to support team logistics throughout Summer League.

In 2024, Bulgheroni served as a special project associate with Max Papis Innovations in Mooresville, North Carolina. His responsibilities included participating in team and financial meetings, processing orders and assisting with the planning and setup of a show trailer for the Indianapolis 500.

A native of Varese, Italy, Bulgheroni attended the European School of Varese, where he played four years of golf and basketball. He was ranked No. 50 in the Italian Amateur Golf Rankings, won multiple local tournaments and recorded several top-10 finishes at national events in Italy.

Bulgheroni comes from a basketball family, as his father and grandfather played professionally in Italy. He is the son of Edoardo Bulgheroni and Lorna Jessica Gonzalez and has two brothers, Carlo and Francesco.
