- Made two relief appearances on the season.
- Made 11 appearances and six starts during his rookie campaign with Lopes. Of his 11 appearances, eight came against teams in the Big 12, Pac-12 or Big Ten.
- Career debut came in a start on Feb. 20 vs. Ohio State, tossing three scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
- Later matched five-strikeout tally on two more occasions: April 6 at Saint Mary's, April 16 at Arizona.
- Earned first career win at Saint Mary's on April 6, throwing four innings of one-run baseball in relief.
- Ranked as the No. 25 freshman in the WAC by Perfect Game.
