A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Clarke Curfman enters his second year as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance and fifth year with GCU for the 2024-25 school year. Curfman works as the performance coach for women’s soccer and softball. Curfman first joined the GCU crew as a graduate assistant with track and field, cross country and spirit programs.
Curfman previously worked at the University of Utah as a volunteer assistant within its Sports Performance department from 2016-2018. During that time, he assisted with lacrosse, baseball, softball, skiing, women’s track and field, women’s soccer, cross country, women’s basketball and swimming and diving.
Curfman graduated with a B.S. in Human Movement Science with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Utah State, and a M.S. in Leadership from Grand Canyon. Curfman holds CPSS, CSCS, and RSCC certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
