Kara Holtorf is beginning her second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Grand Canyon University softball team.
Holtorf starred at GCU from 2009-2012 and is the program’s all-time leader in stolen bases, runs scored and at-bats. She was the team’s starting center field for every game she played during her four-year career. In her senior season, she was a first team All-Pacific West Conference selection, leading the league in runs scored.
She starred in the classroom, too, being selected as a Capitol One Academic All-District 8 selection during her senior season and was an NFCA All-America Scholar.
